1. Agreement Overview
1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Tara PMU Limited (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to the client (“you” or “your”) for permanent makeup and advanced beauty therapy procedures. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to abide by these terms.
1.2. A legally binding contract is created upon our acceptance of your booking fee payment.
2. Booking Your Appointment
2.1. Appointments can be booked via:
- Phone: 07354 099918
- Email: info@tarapmu.com
- Social Media: Instagram (@tarapmuartist) or Facebook (Tara Permanent Makeup Artist)
2.2. Your appointment is reserved for 48 hours. If the booking fee is not paid within this period, the reservation will be cancelled and reopened to other clients. Booking fees are deducted from the total cost, which can be paid in advance or on the day of your appointment.
2.3. Once your booking fee is received, your appointment is confirmed. However, we reserve the right to amend or cancel appointments. We will provide advance notice wherever possible.
3. Booking Fees
3.1. No appointments are confirmed without a booking fee. Consultations are free of charge.
3.2. Booking Fee Structure:
- Treatment cost up to £50: £10 booking fee
- £50 and above: £25 booking fee
- Permanent Makeup: £50 booking fee
3.3. Booking fees are refundable or transferable if more than 48 hours’ notice is given. Cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours require a new booking fee.
3.4. Treatment fees are due in full on the first appointment. The 4-6 week top-up is included in the initial cost.
4. Pre-Treatment Requirements
4.1. A consultation and patch test (via a small scratch behind the ear) are recommended 48 hours before permanent makeup treatments. While allergic reactions are rare, patch tests do not completely eliminate the risk. If a reaction occurs, we reserve the right to refuse treatment for your safety.
4.2. Postal patch tests can be arranged with a phone consultation if you are not local.
4.3. If you decline a patch test, a waiver acknowledging the risks will be required.
4.4. Pre-treatment documentation will be sent to you before your appointment. It is your responsibility to:
- Provide accurate and honest information about medical conditions, allergies, or medications.
- Read and follow pre- and post-care instructions. Failure to do so may result in cancellation or refusal of service.
4.5. Pre-treatment guidelines will be sent upon booking. These must be followed to ensure suitability and safety.
4.6. Clients must be 18 years or older to receive permanent makeup services. Photo identification may be required.
5. On Your Treatment Day
5.1. Arrive on time. Clients more than 20 minutes late may forfeit their booking fee and need to reschedule with a new fee.
5.2. While we aim to stay on schedule, minor delays may occur. Please allow extra time when planning your visit.
5.3. Results may vary based on skin type, lifestyle, and adherence to pre- and post-care instructions. External treatments (e.g., dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections) may alter the outcome.
5.4. All paperwork will be reviewed, and expectations discussed before treatment. Mapping and treatment will then proceed.
5.5. Appointments typically last 2-3 hours, depending on the procedure.
5.6. You can bring a chaperone along to your treatment, however for the safety of your child, children under the age of 16 will not be allowed to come into the treatment room whilst treatments are undertaken. You are welcome to have someone stay with them and wait in the reception instead.
5.7. Aftercare instructions will be provided digitally and with a physical aftercare kit. We are not liable for issues caused by improper aftercare.
6. Touch-Up Appointments
6.1. A complimentary touch-up session is included within 4-12 weeks of the initial procedure. Missed touch-ups may incur additional fees.
6.2. The touch-up addresses areas of faded pigment or gaps post-healing.
6.3. Some clients may require an additional discounted retouch (£40) for optimal results.
6.4. A “colour boost” is recommended after 12-24 months for fading. Pricing depends on the timeframe. If the pigment is no longer visible or it has been over three years since your last treatment, it will be a new appointment.
6.5. Top-up frequency depends on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and adherence to care instructions.
6.6. Annual colour boosts are typically a single session. Additional retouch fees may apply if further adjustments are needed.
7. Services and Pricing

9.2. Clients arriving more than 20 minutes late may be refused treatment, forfeiting their booking fee and a new booking required.
9.3. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if:
